Was it absolutly neccessary for Ralph to be written as an asshole... to the point he even end trying to rape Chris when he discover that his boyfriend doesn't like him anymore EOE ?

Because... Well... Why ? Can't the scenarist just... dunno ? Learn how to write a proper love triangle ? I think making Ralph a violent asshole to explain and excuse why in the end Chris choose to cheat on him is... a very weak way to handle the event of the original story ==.
Even if you want to make Chris end with the Phantom, the author could choose another way to show us Chris breaking with Ralph.

So yes... yes I understand why peoples are angry, and why they think Chris is a cheater ( Wich he is, sorry not sorry 8D. ). They did Raph so dirty and it's painful to read ==.

Also, I definitively have a big problem with cinnamon roll character unable to show any other emotion than happiness, cutess, gentleness, and sometimes a little bit of cute sadness.
Because, even the more gentle people on earth can be sometimes feel piss of or angry. That doesn't make them less "cinamon roll" I think. And Chris have definitively reason to feel piss off, or angry ( He have been raped and mocked for years at the opera come on ! Even a Buddha will be a liittle annoy by this ^^;. ). He won't be less a nice personn... actually I think he will become more relatable for reader.

Ironically on Love Never Dies, which follows after the phantom of the Opera. He becomes an abusive husband with an alcohol and gambling addiction. So this was to be expected….
