I've always referred to that as "Whiskey Dick".
There's also a condition that while you get hard you can't ...ehem...finish. my hubby has that. I loved it at first. Now I tell him to stay the heck away from me when he drinks. Lol.
I recalled a discussion during one of my classes in chapter 4, and it makes sense the guy couldn't get it up at first since he was drunk...alcohol is a depressant when you have too much of it, so he couldnt do it until he was sober lol
