They both come from very diff points. Mc does not fully realize what he did was so wrong to the point he harmed someone he loved, so he doesn’t acknowledge it and hasn’t even tried to apologize yet. I think this is mostly what made ml become so conflicted. He was at least expecting some kind of apology the FIRST time they argued, but mc didn’t even try to. Now he comes to him w nothing else, not yet realizing his mistake, so I’d be furious too. Just maybe ml is not letting his point through as clearly for mc to really get it
