They're not using the International age System in Korea. He should be 18 going 19. 18 in korean age is 20, students graduateat 18 and take the sats. So ML is still 6 years older, meaning in international age he's 24 and in korean age 26.
The dudference likely stems from one translated converting the age for an englisch speaking audience while another one didn't. The younger age is the "normal" one
