EXACTLY, ITS NOT JUST RELYING ON BASIC CINDERELLA STORYLINES IN YAOI OR THE CLASSIC FWB TROPES!! the pacing and character development is everything, despite the exaggerations it’s a realistic cliche
im gnawing at the bars of my enclosure i love everything about this webtoon. i don’t care about the use of basic tropes when they’re written this way!! the utter care and built up trust, love, and respect they have towards one another is so unmatched. i love how honest and open ml is?? his purity + naive attitude is always cleansing, im not even bothered that it’s unrealistic because it’s not his only personality trait
he wears his heart on his sleeve unashamedly! he taught an emotionally neglected adult how to feel again, and seeing that same adult grow to accept love and vulnerability was too good
