I am pretty sure that they are lovers but because she vowed not to marry they cant be a out in the open couple. Also a lot of times the king/emperor are referred to as the sun and their partners are the moon. At least i see it that way but i would die for some sides with them.
Im kinda confused about his relationship with audrey (the current king)? He said he's the moon to her sun but I didn't quite get it, is he a shadow to her? But I think he harbors some feeling for her???
