OH PLEASE THEIR NAMES!!! PLEASE IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL bxjzhsjsjd
OH MY GOD, i just noticed it, his name is "utagawa" and the word "uta" means "song" in Japanese and finally when i check the kanji to make sure if my guess is correct AND IT IS!!! but what's even more fascinating is that i expect it to be written with the kanji "歌" (popularly use for the name "uta") but instead the mangaka put the kanji "唄" (the hiragana is still the same ofc whish isうた and the pronunciation is also the same)
Ok so here's the thing, maybe you guys familiar with animanga jujutsu kaisen, there's a character named "utahime iori" right? Her kanji in uta is written with the kanji "歌"
And on this case, the ML kanji is "唄" which also have the same meaning, "song" but more into a traditional one. You can search it "shamisen" music or instrument (it's a stringed instrument) that kind of instrument mostly use in kabuki play (you can also go check it, it's really good).
So like you can use the kanji "唄" for specify a traditional song one (mainly shamisen music), and "歌" for more of "common" or "general" songs.
OK NOW HERE'S THE PART THAT MAKE ME WANT TO CRY (I'm a very emotional person)
MC's name is "Kanata" right? The "kana" in his name is written with the kanji "奏" which is like a shortened verb of "奏でる (kanaderu)" basically means "to play an instrument". "Kana" can also be used as perform music or melody. The words can also be used when you describe the music is beautifully played or with so much expressions/emotions (make sense right with MC's "ability" to "sense" someone else's emotions or feelings when they sing or play instruments)
OK NOW BARE WITH ME HERE!!! The verb "奏でる" often use to "play an instrument" but ESPECIALLY a stringed instrument one. Remember when i said the kanji "uta" in utagawa named is actually "唄" for specify the "song" in that name is for a traditional shamisen music and shamisen is A STRINGED INSTRUMENT!!!
NOW IT'S MAKE SOOOO MUCH SENSE WITH THE STORY AND HOW THEY FIND EACHOTHER BRO like THEY MEANT TO BE?!!
(Another reason to pick up my kanji practice again... Maybe Japanese language isn't so bad after all, maybe i'm just dumb )
