I mean, not technically speaking, but it's still gross. He raised him. The familial bond is there, even if it's one sided.
At the beginning of one of the more recent chapters it tells us that we are going to see Papas feelings here pretty soon, so we dont know that he even DOES just look at him as his child. I mean, the over protectiveness COULD just be parental concern, or it could be the possessiveness of a seme. The papa look alike implied that the feelings might be mutual between the two when he compared Ryuu dating someone who looks like his father to Papas over protectiveness.
i dont know man, even if they aren't related by blood, they are still family, i mean the man freakin raised the boy and all.. so it's just wrong to change that relationship to lover.. think about usagi drop (if u ever read the manga or watch the anime).. in the end the girl ends up with the father and ALMOST EVERYONE HATES THE ENDING.. i mean it's gross.. well maybe it's just me, maybe this incest-ish relationship isn't my kinda cup of tea.. sorry for rambling ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Oh, no that's fine. I'm not really sure WHAT'S going on, i was just thinking that maybe it wasn't quite just 'family' that Papas been feeling towards Ryuu for a while now. What i was saying is that while reading this we saw how the two interacted and because of the background given to us (them being a family with Ryuu thinking his crush on Papa is hopeless) we assumed that these interactions were just between a father and son, but the Papa look-alike was insinuating that their relationship wasn't as clear cut as that and made it seem like Papa was actually feeling more than just paternal feelings towards Ryuu. Papa look-alike was saying that Papa's possessiveness isn't normal between a father and son.

It is really weird to me that one of the top tags for this manga is "incest". They aren't blood related and the son has had a crush on Papa since childhood, so it's not like he's ever looked at him as just a father... If the blood relation isn't there and the familial bond isn't there, in a sense, then where is the incest?
