like I LOVE some good angst but if an author is drawing, in detail and CONSTANTLY, sexual assault scenes, then MAYBE JUST MAYBE the author is really into SA.
You can depict the atrocities and aftermath without straight-up drawing all the rape bc at this point the author just likes drawing rape
Yeah you know we read yaoi there is a rape scene in almost every story, but this one is very different man she draws it so beautifully detailed its fucked
Ikr. I was reading this a while back but I had to stop due to the emotional damage it was giving me lol. It’s literally torture porn. Like we would’ve gotten the same idea of Geom’s immense suffering with maybe only the first rape scene drawn out and detailed, and the rest could be implied or drawn in more subtle ways. Like genuinely what is the point of the countless graphic rape scenes?

What keeps this from a higher score is that like, rape has GOT to be some fetish of the author's because what the FUCk,, why did the MC suffer so much. And like it's one thing to make your character suffer but ANOTHER to LITERALLY DRAW OUT AND SHOW YOUR CHARACTER BEING RAPED EVERY 3 CHAPTERS????????????? To the point its straight up gratuitous??
Also some points taken off for the misogyny on top of that... author obviously believes women are weak since it is said verbatim like 3 different times lol
