True! It's like we (and Morinaga) are in the desert, and whenever sempai expresses his true feelings, it's like a single drop of water we sip, haha. But seriously though, old yaoi mangas are kinda problematic (dubcon, etc.) but they have something that seems to be missing in modern BL mangas. Works like this and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi are prime examples.

I agree. There's also a reason why they run longer than the modern ones, and no one has let go of this even after decades (like usss)!!! There's just something about old school yaoi, that or the characters have grown with us because we too are the ancient kind Σ(っ°Д °;)っ
I was just rereading my favorite chapters (especially the misunderstanding Masaki arc and the sick arc) but awww yeaaaaa progress! Believe it I imagined the first part happening in the bar and then the second part here is surprising. Mom attacks to checkmate eh?
