I think in Daath and Juda's story, Daath overhead some of the House Omegas talking about their could be a possibility that if a Soul Bond/Mate dies, then the Bond is broken. If this is true, Im assuming the surviving partner can then be bound to someone else..
Is there a chance that since the tiger died the omega can develope another sould bound? I mean, they're attracted to each other and jealous similarly to the way Daath and Juda were in the earlier chapters. Or maybe they fell in love the old fashioned way. It's that the way, it would be sad if Shaia soul mate appears at some point
