I just read until chapter 27.
My guess is that bith Iheon and Huimin is actually their real selves and Huimin actually has MPD to cope with his trauma. So basically Iheon doesn't want Huimin to know the truth (that's why he can't meet the Doctor and why he can't see his old paintings) cause he thinks that this "new" Huimin is his chance to make up to him for all the ship he put Huimin through
