Very true. If you dont take anyone else's advice in life, at least take theirs. People will do only what you allow, if you allow bs and let them hurt you and be unemotional and distant, that's what they'll be, because you haven't/never told them not to. You have to be the one to call out the bs and not take it, only then will you meet and keep people in your life who are affectionate and don't do things to you that you hate.
