I’m not sure about this because yeas we are getting wholesome flashbacks where even I thought “oh cute” but in the next moment he says “I want you to cry more” which takes away the wholesomeness and shows how he is the one that can’t really let her go and that could hint on some problems later on like him going absolutely nuts the moment he realizes she is moving on. I just hope it comes crashing down on him very very fast. I want to see him suffer, want to see his ego crushed
I don’t want revenge I want him to lose his mind when he sees the hot guy she is with, sees how good she is compared to when she was with him and the most important one when she stands up for herself and tells him no
Honestly i think the author is doing it to make the groveling and confrontation more dramatic.
Bc YEZ there are flashbacks but that ginger cunt is doing it with his sidechick, it doesn’t really give that much room for sympathy and it drives home the fact that he’s a shitty guy or when we are shown flashbacks, its immediately cut to their shitty reality. Also notice how haesoo hasnt really thought of him that much? But he still is, it just shows that he still hasn’t moved on from her, but she has to an extent.
Theyre both with new people, but unlike that ugly ginger cunt. He’s thinking of her (their past), while ari is mostly in the backdrop, she’s mostly a prop to him. MEANWHILE haesoo is with taeha, and she’s thinking of HER FUTURE. Mincheol doesn’t need to appear anymore, bc he already left scars on her so she can’t do that again with taeha, but shes going through this with her safety and happiness in mind. So I say there’s very little chance that micheol’s gonna get a redemption arc or be with her again.
I think readers who like mincheol and think they should get back together are getting too caught up in the flashbacks and disregard the contextual framing and narrative design, goldfish memory i tell you
Also i think that michael or whatever his name is, is gonna try and crawl back to haesoo. Thats where his story arc is at, meanwhile our girl haesoo is gonna heal and be happy, taeha isnt gonna be the same as michael bc hes the ml /lh

i feel like the author already made up her mind on either making mincheol the end game (not really likely) or not making mincheol suffer the consequenses of what he did (more likely) because we keep getting these “wholesome” flashbacks about the 2 of em so i think the author is tryna make us like mincheol more and make us forget about how many years he tormented her guys she lived like shit for a decade because of him, she was in a loveless marriage, drowning in HIS debt, and constantly had to hear harsh words bcz shes not wearing makeup, looking cute etc for a decade… i really hope the author doesnt just cast mincheol aside giving him a “happy ending” of his own to focus more on taeha and fl i really hope there is actual revenge against mincheol for ruining a decade of FL’s life not just some emotional shit but some physical revenge that will torment him for a lifetime, perhaps a truck hitting him and leaving him paralyzed i would love something like that tho very unlikely
