i tried, but i cant help but think "that boy is not normal!" and i dont mean his personality, seriously, what kinda magical person can weaponize tentacles?? hes gotta be the love child of a magical person and a villain. if the author wasnt so focused on smut, there could have been an ark where maple discovers the origin of his powers and idk maybe his parents were both exicuted and somebody tried to raise their helspawn to be on the right path and when he learns the truth, he falls to his knees in existential dread questioning who he is, or more importantly /what/ he is. hes a magical boy, but hes also a monster. but then he decides to just be in the mindset that magical people kiIIed his parents and he loves a villain. and all hel breaks loose!
