It is disappointing BUT he also has a really sad backstory and he also didn’t have much of an option early on. However I do believe that he had more of a choice when he met Wooyeon again in college and it’s sad that he didn’t tell him everything.

Where did you read the novel and what’s the link? I translated the whole novel after chapter 68 and just checking to see if someone else translated this too.
He has his reasons why he did it. How he is acting now is HIM. He isn’t faking how he felt and he next faked his personality with Wooyeon. All he did was report back to the mom when he did the tutoring but that’s it. He is a green flag.
Also to add in to the spoilers, no he isn’t working for the mom anymore. He was hired by the mom at 18 and wooyeon was 14 (it’s not 4 years later). It was just a couple of months but stopped to go to the military. The novel goes into detail how his past and why he did it. He is a green flag trust.

Exactly. He felt like he owed the mom for helping him in the past. However another reason why he decided to leave tutoring and go to the military is because wooyeon confessed, his feelings, and Dohyun gotten nervous, because since it’s alpha and omega that he could return the feelings/nervous he might. The novel didn’t directly say he would catch feelings, but the description indicated it.. Which I mean…I’m past 18 and could NEVER find myself having an attraction to a minor like that. That was really the only thing that raised a red flag + one time he grabbed wooyeon wrist and left a mark…
