Personally me I think the mc is really relatable... (I kind of have his personality, but ofc not to the point of madness) Anyway, the mc is really cunning and adapts way too well that it's quite terrifying. It feels like he just want to be the person pulling the string while being protected by the “strongest” person. Rather than being in love, I feel like he's intoxicated w/ the power a person's hold(I quite also get attracted by this kind of thing e.g. my past crush is a student council pres, other was a corps commander(highest rank) of citizenship advancement training).
