Devons character is highkey freaking me out. She clearly hated the princess and was Hella rude the last time they talked. Why are they showing her inner monologue talking like she's excited about the prospect of becoming friends with her? Like hello??

Maybe you’re confused with the saintess chick with black hair. The girl with black hair is two-faced and wants Raymond. Devon (the brunette) is the one who was mainly quiet and never was rude towards agnes.

I thought Devon was the one she talked too after she was listening to the saintess and her argue. And I thought Devon was the one who came to visit her and ask if the princess had truly forgotten Raymond? She was rude in both those instances.

I think you may have to read Chapter 25 and Chapter 43 again. She wasn’t rude and there were obvious hints she does not hate MC.

In Chapter 25: The only “rude” part is lady Devon saying Raymond truly despises MC, but that’s more of an observation literally everyone saw and knew- plus a response right after MC said she’ll cut off her head lmao. So it was MC who said something rude first. The hint is right after that. Look at lady devon’s expression as MC leaves.

In Chapter 43: She visits MC and cries that she was worried about her. She says she’s relieved mc frogot about Raymond.

Those are all huge hints that she does not hate MC and that it’s actually the opposite. As a novel reader, I can confirm this.
