I wonder if he never treated the other's right because he never got to know them as people. Like obviously it's because he's a selfish prick, but he's actually getting to know Dan (unknowingly on his and Dan's part lol).
I just wonder now that he's faced with having to humanize Dan, if he would have gone on the road of softness with other guys he was seeing as well.
But also so predictable because hes such a rough character lol. Idk why in the back of my mind, I can't help but think it's also good timing for it being Dan that he humanizes.
Altho Dan would have to be written as a well of forgiveness for it to ever work out between them
