This kind of art style is actually very common in chinese stuff, esp historical content. And usually in manhua adaptations, hair/eye colours are a whole range of shades to make characters more recognizable, even if it might be different in the original source material.

10 chapters in, and well I will just come out and say it because it has been on my mind. I’m sorry if this offended anyone. I know it is just an artstyle but none of them look remotely Asian like straight up full European like those Russian models. They don’t even trynna blend it lol
