Just finished chapter 28 and I need a break from the story. Only mild spoilers to answer your questions.
Based on a few scenes and various hints, it seems like the mistress really does have something to do with powers but it isn't the ex-husband. Instead, she's related to his ward. Different plot point, don't want to get into it, and honestly they treat both the mistress and the ward as side characters (only necessary when plot.)
As for the husband? Nah. He's obsessive but he's not even giving "yandere" vibes, which I could maybe overlook. Instead, he's giving major "narcissist" vibes. Him chasing after MC seems to be more about an ego hit rather than out of "love". In one scene, she straight up worries about him being violent with her if she turns him down. He's also not interested in the ogMC, only the current MC, which she finds offensive and same. He basically seems to only like her because she's "defying" him. But thankfully, he doesn't seem to be the ML, so I can forgive him being included in the story.
K I started it but I don't get it and I need to know before I proceed. Is the husband really shitty? Cuz I am getting mixed messages here. He says Pinky is linked to his powers and seems to love the FL? And if he loved her, why did he leave her alone for 3 years? Wtf is actually the truth?
