As always, you are an angel Pixie! This chapter had a lot going on and you unpacked it very well. I’m nervous about Jaehyuk’s mom. I don’t quite know what to make of her. I know Jaehyuk was a playboy in the past and that she even caught him in the act, but she doesn’t even seem to want to believe that her son can change. This makes me believe she may not be too accepting of his “change of preference”. I hope I’m wrong though, because Garam doesn’t need that added trauma, just when things are getting good between him and Jaehyuk. That sweet moment at the end reminded me that they have really come a long way and how good they are for each other. As for the ex, I won’t even waste too much time on him, he simply needs to get a hint that Garam doesn’t want him!!!
Thanks dear Pixeiw I missed my babies last week! I was hoping we would get to know a bit more about the ex in today's episode but the same situations are kinda repeating in the past few chapters. The mom is angry whatever Jaehuyk does. Garam is getting more and more in love with his boyfriend all while hating his ex passionately xD Sehan is the typical selfish and envious ex. It's time he makes some bold move so we can have some action. I want to see him confront Jaehuyk one way or another. As for the mother, I'm still confident she will get softer when she meets Garam. Passed the shock of the gender, I am sure she will appreciate Garam for who he is and how he transformed her jerky son lol
Jaehyuk just needs to continue proving his mom wrong I guess. I feel like the more she either gets convinced or suspicious about Jaehyuk changing, the more she'll wanna meet Garam as the person her son listens to. But I'm sure that whatever her reaction is to Garam being a guy, Jaehyuk is gonna protect him.
Yeah the issue with the ex and mom have been building up for quite a while now, and I am also hoping some drama finally goes down next chapter lol it's about time for Sehan to cause problems.
- Jaehyuk drops Garam off for work. Garam is wearing the new clothes Jaehyuk bought for him.
- Jaehyuk goes to visit his parents' restaurant. He thinks that if his mom and Garam meet at this state, it's going to be Han Garam Trauma 2. If he doesn't want that to happen, from now on, he'll have to slowly leave a good impression on her.
- His mom arrives. When she notices him, she greets him saying, "Who's this~ Aren't you my son who is so blinded by love that he doesn't even listen to his mother? What are you doing here~? You must be very busy with housekeeping and playing house with your girlfriend."
- Jaehyuk says he's here to help with work, but his mom sighs and tells him to drop the act, saying she knows he's here to get the card back. Jaehyuk says he's not here for that. He tells her that his lover told him to help out. But this pisses off/disgusts (idk look up her reaction panel ) his mom and she was like, "Lover this, lover that. Since when have you been obedient? This guy doesn't even listen to what I say," then walks out telling everyone that Jaehyuk will be washing the dishes all by himself.
- Meanwhile, the ex sees Garam wearing the new clothes during lunch. He says he saw those at the department store yesterday and thought it would look good on Garam. He says he was thinking of buying it for him and that their tastes are very similar. But Garam says that Sehan has a similar taste to his lover instead. He says Jaehyuk bought a lot and had he known that the ex would like it, then he would've worn different clothes.
- Sehan then says, "But isn't that friend a bit inconsiderate? Garam, you don't like people buying things for you... Not even a cup of coffee (because Garam rejected a coffee from him before)." Garam tells him, "Hey, get a grip, you think he's the same as you?"
- Garam then gets a call, and he smiles while answering because it's Jaehyuk. Sehan stares at him displeased.
