Kaii probably thought he was cute (and it’s true that Asuka is adorable) and decided to approach him. That’s what I think anyway.
Tht could be true, cuz they were about to bring it up but they just stopped talking about it.. :u
The only thing tht bothers me..or i missed it..but why the monster even approached him in the first place..they never explained tht....
