His toxicity tbh. I agree that happy ending, character development and redemption arcs are also nice but among all these other novels, manga/hua/hwa, dramas that I read and watch it's nice to see something different. Like you may like eating sweets but sometimes you can crave something sour.
Personally I would've been disappointed to see Caesar change for the better. I like that he was a pos from beginning to end haha. Other than his character design also being pleasant on the eyes, I like him overall.
I agree that younger audience may be influenced and all but since you asked for my personal opinion I won't go there. Also I'm 25, so old enough to have self preservation irl.

Haha no, I get it. Sometimes having a deranged character is a change of pace you crave. I don't personally really care for them... I'm trying to figure out if there's any character like that that I like.... Mmmm okay... There is this one character from a Danmei that is an ass from beginning to end... But I fucking love the guy!
