I remember that the Mc was in love with his best friend but doesn't end up with him. He ends up meeting the main lead who turns out has a history with the friend (they dated for a short period in college but it didn't work out between them).

I remember that because of his crush the Mc lied about the food he liked, I think pasta? Because the friend liked it. And I know one scene the Mc found out about their previous relationship and got sad, especially since he hadn't known his friend liked men, and the the ml got mad about it thinking Mc was punishing him.

Pretty sure it was in color.
