"Yes, I am! And I did read the story. But it seems like you’re the one struggling to comprehend it. Lesset is a dragon, not some regular human—so if you expect him to act like one, you’re highly mistaken. Of course, I’m not saying he’s completely right, but he’s not entirely wrong either. If Elisabetta loves him, then guess what? He loves her too. The problem? He’s a dragon—he doesn’t express emotions the way humans do. You really thought he’d go all 'Baby, I’m in love with you, let’s be happy together'? Nah, girl. If you want someone bad to be good to you, you actually have to put in effort and give them time. It’s not like making instant noodles—just add hot water, and boom, transformation. Lesset is a complex character, and I’m pretty sure he’ll change eventually. Try keeping up."

I guess you forgot that both of our main characters are enemies and the whole reason why she married him in the first place and they had the contract was that in the 6 months that she is with him She has to give birth to his child in order to commit suicide because dragon children ripped through the stomach of their mother and killed them. But if she didn't have his child he put in the contract that she's allowed to run. Honestly, I'd run too. I don't care if I love you and then honestly her whole goal is to go back to her brother and restore their country but I guess you missed all that also Lisset is not a full dragon. He is only part dragon the original dragon that he came from, explained that they also have emotions like normal people. He chooses to act like that. The only reason why Elise was allowed to marry Lisset was because they thought they already slept together and she was already pregnant. Also, Elise doesn't know she's pregnant and they were going to kill her if she wasn't.

I also forgot to mention that Lisset is literally her prison guard and they're not in a normal relationship. She has no time to deal with his bull crap. She is fighting for her life If she doesn't run she dies If she does run she'll still die realize that if she stayed and had the baby they would have executed her even if she survived

"I never said Elisabetta wasn’t in danger or that Lisset was completely right. My point was that their dynamic isn’t as black and white as you’re making it seem. Yes, Lisset is part dragon, but his nature is different from humans—he doesn’t process emotions the same way. That doesn’t excuse his actions, but it explains why he isn’t behaving like a typical romantic lead. Elisabetta’s struggle is real, and I acknowledge that, but that doesn’t mean Lisset is purely a villain either.
Also, discussions like these are meant for different perspectives. Just because I see things from another angle doesn’t mean I ‘missed’ anything. It just means I don’t blindly agree with the popular narrative. Instead of imposing your view as the absolute truth, maybe consider that stories can be interpreted in more than one way."

I think its fine to say Lesset isn't purely a villain. But I get why the other commenter is confused by your confusion about why elise is running away. It's very obvious why she needs to and wants to run away. As it is for her now under her current understanding, staying would be both suicide and forsaking her kingdom/brother

"I wasn’t confused. I know exactly what I said, and I stand by it. I was making a statement, not asking for validation. It’s interesting how people assume that just because someone has a different perspective, they must be wrong. Discussions aren’t about forcing others to agree, they’re about understanding different angles. You see it your way, I see it mine—both can exist without one being ‘wrong.’"

I think you should re-read your comment. "But I get why the other commenter is confused by "your confusion" about why elise is running away." These are your exact words. So you are saying only chatgpt knows how to use quotation? Why? didn't you go to school? And I am giving exact answer of what people are saying.
I don't understand why Elisabetta is running away and why lesset is the villain here?
