Dude I feel the same, it never made sense that his character would do that. This is the flaw of this manga, rape wasn’t necessary and more than that, is not in the character of Akamine, not even if he was drunk.

Honestly thought it's gonna be some memory distortion and it was a different person who raped him all along because the difference of akamine's action and between what happened that night ... I truly don't get like I have so many questions about what was on akakine's mind when that happened 6 years ago. I couldn't get pass ch. 9 btw so maybe I missed some details
