Same I'm here like 9 years if you read story and like it you automatically become weirdo for them like in night of unmarked i can't understand how seme is pedo when he doesn't lust after uke and it was uke who has feelings for seme and got rejected, half of reading audience here don't read and don't remember anything and accuse with full confidence when someone say anything community here is full of moral police on illegal site most of them ruin comment section with weird accusations which doesn't even exist in story in the first place
Idk man, if someone reads something knowing the character is a minor or a kid (I put knowing because some manwhas make it unclear or don’t tell an age, and I don’t blame readers for that in those instances) but if they’re 100% a minor, like no doubt about it, and there’s sex scenes of them or a relationship between an adult and a minor and people enjoy reading that…ship it…jerk off to it… that’s just weird.
If the character turns into an adult before anything happens in the story, or there was no grooming in a relationship, and readers like a character or romance/sex in the story after they’re an adult, that’s fine to me but when they are actually just straight up a minor it’s not okay at all
Exactly, I see lots of people being a moral police and screaming "PEDO" everywhere when they have minimal to no romance as a kid. Like if you read it and don't like it you don't have to come to comment section and bash other people and label them as pedo in every comment. This is frustrating and disgusting.
The thing is if you know the story contain characters that are minor and has romantic elements then why would you read it in the first place.
For instance, I was reading a manga where the main character who is minor has feeling for the older one (not other way around) and they don't have any sex or romance. But the moral police have to come to comment section and bash other people for reading it and label them as "Pedo". For what reason? Like if you don't like it thn simply exit but no, coming to every update and screaming "pedo" is concerning. Like you are reading it even though you saying you don't like it and when ask they say "I am getting update notification." Bitch, if you didn’t put this in your reading list then you wouldn't have got it.
Omggg thank you for saying this. Too much Moral policing. I have blocked and been blocked by few due to these pedo allegations. So annoying. Like you don't wanna read it go away. Especially problematic themes. This issue has grown so much that the writers are maybe considering 3/4 times before even drawing something incase it pops up with another charade.
In the story you mentioned I wouldn’t consider the story or readers pedophilic because nothing was going on with the character who is a minor. If the character becomes an adult and a relationship starts or readers like the relationship then, even sexual scenes I also wouldn’t consider it pedophilic because nothing was going on beforehand.
I don’t think situations like that are pedophilic. Only when the character is 100% a minor and readers are attracted to them, sexual scenes are going on, or there’s some relationship happening between the minor and an adult is it gross and wrong.
I want to go back to 6 years ago when reading and interacting with this community was FUN.
People now a days getting overly sensitive and comments are not like before where we give our opinions and analyze the plot.
I am constantly label as criminal or pedo just for reading manga/manhwas that trigger them.
If you don't like the story or feel like it is sensitive to you, just exit. Some people like us enjoy the plot and can differentiate between real and fiction.
And sometimes I feel like they are just obligated to make remarks on someones preference when they themselves reading on some illegal websites and act like so called "moral person".
Aghhh!!! I am here in this community over 10 years but now a days it feels like reading something will just come with headaches and can't enjoy and laugh over silly comments.
