I bet K's previous partner is alive. And when he shows, it's gonna destroy K along with our lovely MC. I hope at some point, although K got good intentions, k would realize that he's going to hurt mc. And if the old partner isn't alive, then good thing but sad he died that way when he deserved a good life.
