What constitutes a redemption arc for a man orchestrating a gang rape for his partner, even if it wasn’t carried out in the end? He has done nothing but antagonize what he viewed as a purchased punching bag. If this man was not attractive I fear there would be far less open arms waiting in this comment section. A tired trope indeed.
Also, I agree with the comment(s) saying it’s odd how the author displayed the inconsistency in his character. He’s shown no remorse for his behavior until this point and then cranks it to 100 with the waterworks/ manipulation (I’m including the raws but won’t spoil the buffoonery.)
I honestly hate it I’ll never forget those first few episodes where he was literally murdering people through horrific acts of violence for the fun of it like this is not a good man this will never make me feel sorry for him
