Tbh i feel like it stems fromh the ingrained mentality that men can't be raped which we have seen he's got in his head.
Maybe his thirst for pain during sex makes him be able to handle traumatic events with more ease. Not to mention there is people who have coercion kinks.
Either way, the way the reaction of the ML was quite dumb considering he thinks of himself as part of the BDSM community.
Tbh, I don’t think he would have cared about the rape, as long as he didn’t get caught. He is only scared to be outed to his parents, well and society also.. but as far as the actual act.. abuse, and dragging.. he doesn’t seem to care about all… that’s why he wanted more with ML and even ML was getting uncomfortable..
