a lot of authors do this, and if they're homophobes they just straight up show panty shots of female characters.
yeah and i feel like itll only keep happening more and more with BL becoming increasingly popular. if u dont wanan commit to the gay then dont make the ML seem like hed roll over and die for his love...
i dont particularly care if its BL or not, or even if theres romance or not, to begin with i started it for the plot but i will say if it ends up being not BL theres kinda some shitty gay baiting (is that the word?). Like its clear the author wants to attract BL fans but it just doesnt look good to bait it so much and not make it happen IMO
