I think it depends on the type of orchid. Some of my mom's orchids are too shy to grow big or have flowers. And some of the are absolutely dominating the area they're growing in.
wait how?? My orchid died when I left it in the sun for an hour longer than ususal. Actually so finicky T.T
Funny, that my mom's orchid plant is not withering even though she forgot to water it for 2 months in the summer. Actually it now has beautiful flowers
