I agree, it's a bit tricky (basing it on flow or type of story) but you can estimate by the flow of words (from left or right) or search for it manually like I do..
I sometimes look for the hint from how they use background and design elements (Japanese tend to have more details and they use background design elements or transition colors very cohesive not just slap it randomly without purpose just like how manhwa does. Based on my observation)

Finallllllly another manhwa w a girly who is destined to take revenge on her parents n shii like that. The title and cover was enough to drag me in and goddddayumm I'm in love, can't wait to see what's next(≧∀≦) It's pacing fast but I actually don't mind at all, no unnecessary 50+ chapters of the same thing.
