The word might be "moving on" simply over with and unbothered. He doesn't care enough about Hazel to even expose him. but even then, I feel like if you're unbothered but allow the people around you to be bothered, like them nosy friends, then.....there's always a chance it comes back to bite you. And why? Why couldn't anyone know the truth about their break up? I get it if they prefer it for privacy reasons but as we saw, it is BECAUSE the truth wasn't out that weird rumors are spreading about the past. If Ash intends to keep those friends, why let it continue to flame, why not put out the fire from the start? Also if those friends are as nosy and disrespectful as they are about his new relationship, what else are these people gossiping about behind their backs regarding their relationship. So either way, those friends are trash! Cut them loose!
Edit: I guess what I'm tryna get at is, if those friends aren't important enough to know about your reasons for break up, then they're not important enough to know your reasons for dating an alpha. So why were they even at the party???
