But what will happen when Shin gets old? That kept bugging me the whole time but it was such a cute story...for 13 years Shin tried to fix Shimiji.

    It said at the end that Shimeji stayed by Shin's side when he got old. And after Shin passed away Shimeji never moved again. Then, they went to heaven together.

    It's a little cliche, but I found it really sweet too. (=・ω・=)
