Im 100% convinced the author changed the ending because it was never supposed to be 106 chapters she originally planned for less than that but unfortunately because Joowon had more fans (I will never understand why) Taku was a much more interesting character but I guess people like what they are familiar and there are ton of BL characters that have the exact same personality as Joowon.)
