Rightttt like isnt this counter intuitive to her character's nurturing side that wants to help kids coming from a lower class through education (at least thats where i thought this was going from the summary)...like wut girl so they can grow up to be akin to modern day corporate slaves???
At least in other stories the FL doing this is distinctly the villain charecter so...ig theres at least that lol. Like if im gonna be a villain im gonna bring in some modern villain methods. With this one it was just so random???

YeP, and that bit about her explaining how to fake exponential growth conviniently left the part out where investors will come to expect and rely on this bombastic climb in numbers, which inevitably the company wouldn't be able to keep up with no matter how much they undervalued their profits at first. Which means wages start to be cut, people get fired, product quality drops while the price rises and/or more. And in a world where child labor is mandatory for a poor peasant that's extra evil.
Now that we're on the topic, maybe it's a reach, but I found it kinda shifty of her to rely on a kid as an infortmant. Of all people why a child when you had so much sympathy for them having to work at their age?

It's not like she was introducing the concept in the world. The manhwa showed that other companies were already doing those duplicitous practices, it's just awareness of such methods isn't formally taught, merely secretly kept within certain circles or individually discovered. It seemed to me that she was warning and informing the merchant to watch out for such things from others.
Granted, if later the merchant shows up having taken her lessons as a how to guide, that would be super annoying

Yea I was comparing it to ones that introduce it as a new method cause thats just what ive read. Ik in this case it exists and she just knows about it...but her nonchalance about these methods and using it as a tactic like its just regular-shmegular, no biggie, strats is....just jarring. Maybe you're right that shes giving a warning buuuut i dunno man - it looked more like suggesting to me tbh. Ig we can just hope lol

I'm no professional either yk. I just remember the bare bones of what was taught in school.
If you got a clue how everyone makes their money, and know why and how your groceries/apartment/etc cost a certain price it gets easier to spot shady business tactics like that. It's economics 101, look into it if you got the time.
It's always so funny to me how slay FLs are portrayed for giving modern day financial advice that would basically screw over the working class and should be classified as fraud lmao. That's not a slay you go girl moment if you ask me.
