As much as I agree that MC is HELLA DUMB n it's annoying, we should also understand it's also because ML shield, protect and pamper MC too much. He preserves MC's naive nature. ML has been w MC since their days at school to university and to this point, MC has 0 actual experience in dealing w bad ppl or scams.
