I've heard Korean doesn't have gendered pronouns, which is why you'll often see low-quality translations mix them up, because they just tend to put everything throught MTL and don't even check if things fit the context. The pronoun issue also applies to you/me pronouns, at least I've noticed they tend to get messed up a lot in bad translations, when in the context the opposite would make more sense.
Sometimes messages are still unclear to me, but being aware of this helps make sense of things better ╮(￣∇￣")╭

Or it could be like in the hunterxhunter where the gender is still undecided. Like in one of the character are a girl in the first early episode (he has boobs in the early chaps. Not sure if it is the early version or the latest version though). Now, back to this Manhwa if you compare their first appearance the oldest doesn't have boobs and her looks is more on the boy side (even wears and looks like a chunibyuu boy). But on her latest appearance she looks like a girl with boobs and her face looks like a girl's. Like how teenager boyish girls are often portrayed in animes
since the beginning they've been saying it's a daughter. there wasn't any mix-up of pronouns. the only thing that made it confusing was her tomboyish look
I don't remember that I only remember the mc introducing the siblings as the oldest brother and the younger sister. And when manager appeared and they gave an intro for the siblings (again) the narration was "her son and daughter". Or it could be that the translators checked it again and changed that's why our memories are different
@yona ok, after checking and re-reading, here’s the discrepancy:
Official translation ch 26 does clarify that the eldest is a daughter, but unofficial translation said brother, which shitcory mentioned that unofficial translations can mix up pronouns. The official translation came out this year, while the unofficial was up last year, so that’s why there was some confusion between timing of uploads depending on which version was read.
To be fair, she does use “oppa” and “unnie” which are terms used by girls, but as someone who only read through the story once, I didn’t notice or bother to fact check. And now we know! ╮(￣▽￣)╭

In 58 they refer to 2 granddaughters, so I guess secretly she's been a girl? That could be a mistranslation too though.
