Exactly! It still makes me sad to see how he turned out in the present but i understand how it could happen I’m really hoping for a heart to heart moment when the backstory is over I cannot handle another angst situation to break them apart again before bringing them back together
Probably the only story that actually has a well written backstory of a toxic top that I've become increasingly intrigued by each chapter and properly and accurately explains why the top is the way he is as an adult and not an "awe boohoo I had a rough childhood so I can treat everyone like shit in my adulthood, woe is me" whereas this story goes into the psychological effects of childhood emotional abuse.
