Why tf is it so hard for us to get a bl story where romance isn't the only plot point; but have it still be a bl book??? The problem with these books is that there MC's are always stright before the series and outside of a handful of blushes show little to no intrest/flat out refuses to even entertain the idea of dating any of the other guys.
These books can't even be seen as 'self discovery/gay awakenings' because they only ever play up the gay aspects for a joke/fan service, but don't ever spend time to seriously highlight the MC's changing feelings. I'm over these kinds of books and their authors who label their content as BL when they clearly don't like/want to create books in that genre.
