I bet you he knew her powers would weaken by being next to her. It’d be interesting if their closeness also meant she could die easily or smtg. That would be the only way his stance on her staying away and asking her to leave the palace would make sense.
All and all though, I’m not overly entertained by the story… I’ll stick around till chapter 20 to see if I like it any better by then
