what if huimin actually remember their past in all timeline but had enough because they keep repeating it and nothing changed so he created another timeline / universe where they're only 'best friends' and nothing romantic, where he had a family he could return to, in a world where omegaverse doesn't exist in his mind as a coping mechanism
