Why are y’all mentally ill

I am sick and tired of people saying heonjae loves myongil bc it’s not love it’s obsession. Just like his teacher. Jingi on the other hand actually has feelings for him. Jingi is not a saint either but I think genuine feelings wise, jingi wins.

Nah fr bro said “ U WANT WHT HE HAVING” to his own brother man heonjae just wants a man to love him as much as he loves them. Like although therapy wont get to him talking to a loved one might work for him ts time.

Yeah bro I said he’s not a saint. For myongil’s sake, he should just run away from both. But current story wise I think heonjae does not love him. In heonjae story, he wasn’t loved by his parents so I imagine he’s looking for a parental love and attachment rather than formal romance. Do I think he might later, sure. But not at the moment.

Jingi has his own problems, but what I think he feels for myongil is actually love, but too little too late.

I personally think heonjae, due to his colored past, has developmental issues, causing his childlike actions everyone just passes off as innocence. Fight me on this if you want, but I can bet that even if myongil does end up with him, he will end up in the same boat as the teacher. While with jingi I think their relationship would be more normal(still with its own issues though).

Ok so I agree with you on some parts but not most of them. Yes, due to his mental issues and his past he does seem innocent but I hope that we all know that he knows what he’s doing. Think about the classic dynamic of Lennie and George from mice of men (big but special, small but intelligent) that’s literally Jingi and Heonjae. But if Myongil does end up with him, he wouldn’t end up liking the teacher because he knows what he did in the past was wrong and he doesn’t want anything bad happening to Myongil. Jingi pointed out the same fact too about how he’s going to end up like his teacher but he dismissed that claim knowing that he didn’t want his past to repeat itself. I haven’t seen the appeal of Jingi being endgame because all he’s done for him was help him survive in prison but he was also the reason that prison was so bad. I don’t want to turn this into a “he raped him more times then Heonjae did” but let’s be honest he’s not looked down upon by the other criminals for no reason. He’s seen as Jingi’s bitch with that dye in his hair and everyone’s afraid to approach him knowing who he’s associated with. I don’t think this story was made for love more of a psychological drama type thing, like killing stalking (don’t quote me on that I haven’t finished it) but if anyone were to end up with myongil it would be Heonjae because he would think that he’s helping him

I would agree with you more if heonjae didn’t have fantasies of him slicing myongil up (which I’m pretty sure he didn’t feel bad for, if I’m wrong tell me).

But I think the author would make it seem like he’s ending up with heonjae but then something would happen with would make myongil to a 180 and run away (either to jingi or alone)

Jingi reminds me of the dark skinned guy in back to school. Which makes me think it will be a lot of the same, like begging for forgiveness, wondering what he could have done different, and the like.

I just think while jingi did all of the things he did, he knew what he was doing and we have seen (meager) development in the way he treats myongil. But all we’ve seen from heonjae, is more fantasies of him taking away myongil and being violent towards others. I don’t think he regrets what did he with the teacher necessarily but more that he was caught by myongil. (If I’m wrong shame me)

I do not think heonjae’s problems can be fixed with therapy, because I do not think heonjae is someone who can be rationalized with. Therapy and drugs aren’t going to be an immediate fix. I think he needs a long term stay in a facility.

As a heonjae hater I don’t know if I can be fully neutral on my feelings but I do not think heonjae will be the winner just because of the set up the story is getting right now. The fact that he is already so smitten with heonjae and we haven’t even gotten to the climax yet is a huge sign (imo) that either, heonjae fucks up really bad and they work through it or, smth happens and heonjae gets kicked to the curb. But only time will tell.

(Thank you for being civil, it is so hard to have normal discussions with people over this manhwa)

So I am just going off of memory but I don’t remember him having fantasies about slicing Myongil up but that’s just me though.

By the author is definitely doing the same thing that pisses me off in a love triangle where you have to choose by they’re both equally bad choices. However, I think that it’s literally impossible for Myongil to run away from either of them given how long he’s been with them, how many opportunities he was given, and how far their obsession for him goes.

I do agree, we might get some scenes of him taking care of Myongil but he’ll always be a bad person and he’ll never develop anything more than that. But with Heonjae he honestly is a classic “if I can’t have you, no one can” case and his fantasies with Myongil isn’t healthy but then again their whole relationship isn’t. I do agree with you he doesn’t regret his actions but he was scared more of what Myongil would think of him after he learns the truth rather than being caught.

Heonjae honestly is beyond fixing. He needs to be hidden from society because he’s so unstable. However I do think he can be tamed in a sense if Myongil stays with him because Myongil just thinks that he’s like this because of Jingi and he goes along with whatever he says.

I definitely did have my phases with choosing one to be endgame but I do favor Heonjae as endgame because Jingi just seems like a person who won’t change to me. But again that’s all up to the author now.

(I also enjoy having these type of discussions with other readers because it adds more to the story and allows me to know what others think so thanks (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ)
