I think they really toned down the manhwa and I like it more because some said the novel ML is more cruel.

he went on a killing spree and killed everyone including the hostages some of his men (i think), he only left that one guy just because they needed him.
sad thing was that the hostages that he killed had already somehow formed a bond with their men thats why it was brutal

I thought I was tripping but they did change it. It’s different than the novel.
