I agree wholeheartedly but I'm pretty sure the reason ahjin is locked up is because he almost tried to overdose himself

If only, I feel like he didn’t suffer enough from what I read in the raws. Only a few chapters and it looks like he’s being forgiven. Maybe the novel goes more in depth but now in the raws.

Please, I hope you suffer from unbearable regret and shed blood tears for what you've done to Ahjin. You drugged him to the point of insanity, abused, rape, chained and locked him up. Whatever suffering awaits you, that wouldn't be enough to redeem your soul.
