No he's not he had bad parents who everytime he liked something made it or done it till he didn't like.it which conditioned him.to just do what he thinks will make them.happy which is why he grew into that
I don’t necessarily hate him but I think he has little to zero character development, if he really wants to keep gunjoon he needs understand his feelings as well and his insecurities.
We haven't seen what he's even going to do yet he most likely will
