I think that it's because she's was never a human (or mortal) in her first life, she was God who granted wishes and by the looks of it and the way she talks she never really understood human emotions. So now being in a (somewhat)normal human body with a whole lot more of problems plus new emotions she has never felt she's probably just having normal human instincts. Kids WILL legit try their hardest to earn their parents approval and love even if the parents are pure ass until they reach a certain breaking point and by the looks of it, she hasn't reached it yet (which is good in some cases but to us we just want that asshole to die alone while mc lives on happily away from his toxic ass

Plus there's no way she can only has Isabella for a maid, how poor is this country that they can't even provide servants and servers to their only princess even if she's neglected?
