
You can see it on how most manhwa emphasizes on how beautiful or ugly a character is like that's literally the plot. True beauty is a perfect example, lookism on it's earlier chapters. If you read ORV the mc always being called a squid the most common comparison they(koreans) have literally in every manhwa I've read. Basically appearance really have bigger impact than anything

I agree with this so much but one thing that i don't get it is that sometimes they emphasize that the character is ugly but they're just canonically ugly,i'll take your example and say orv's mc (kim dokja) he's portrayed as a normal designed character but one of his nicknames is literally 'ugly king' .
It's really weird that she sees most guys as if they have stone heads? As her friend, I also thought she needed a doctor asap, but somehow the other girls said it's normal? It's a little funny, but I don't really get the jokes. It's weird to think ppl only care about the looks, even tho this is ok to a degree... but ppl have way more than the looks and the mc and male lead (blondie) don't seem to get it. I'm sure they'll learn throughout the story tho.
